Lillian Caroline Doudna
Lillian Caroline Doudna, 78, of Boaz died Saturday, November 1, 2014.
She was born July 14, 1936 in Primrose Township in Dane County the daughter of Alfred and Augusta (Jabs) Johnson. On April 3, 1971 Lillian married Darwin ‘Duke’ Doudna and he preceded her in death on October 31, 1999. She worked at O’Bryan Brothers and bartended at Bunny’s Bar for many years. She enjoyed gardening, canning and watching Law and Order. Lillian’s real joy was the time she was able to spend with her grandchildren and great-grandchildren.
She is survived by four children;
Randy (Cheri) Steven of Richland Center,
Phillip Steven of Richland Center,
Barbara (Ken, Jr.) Nicks of Boaz,
Chad (Karla) Bradley of Muscoda;
9 Grandchildren: Matthew Steven, Mandy (Darin) Barto, Melissa Steven, Brooke Steven, Brandon (Jessica) Steven, Brianne Hicks, Ryan (Ruthanne Burkhamer) Bauer, Kelly Bradley, Cassie Bradley;
7 Great-grandchildren with one on the way;
Brother: Melvin (Kay) Johnson of Muscoda;
Sister: Lorna Johnson of Lancaster;
Daughter-in-law Susan Steven of Greenville, South Carolina;
Many nieces, nephews, other relatives and friends.
Lillian was preceded in death by her parents, husband Duke, son Ritchie, and brother Lorenz Johnson.
Funeral services will be held on Tuesday, November 4, 2014 at 11:00 AM at the Pratt Memorial Chapel with Reverend Craig Peach officiating. Burial will follow in the Richland Center Cemetery. Friends may call at the Pratt Memorial Chapel on Monday, November 3, 2014 from 4:00 PM until 7:00 PM and again on Tuesday, November 4, 2014 from 10:00 AM until the time of the service at 11:00 AM. The Pratt Funeral and Cremation Service is assisting the family with their arrangements.
