We had a round of sleet, freezing rain, and snow move through the area early this morning. But temperatures are now at or above freezing for most of the area with warmer air taking over, that has lead to light rain now joining the show.

Very little icing occurred during the overnight hours, with no reports of major impacts. Expect light rain to end around noon, then a cloudy break in the action as temperatures reach the upper 30s for highs.

In the meantime, most roads remain wet, but in great shape in terms of ice. We should keep roads in good shape through the day with minimal to perhaps nonexistent impacts from any wintry weather.

Heavy rain moves back in later tonight, this will make for a really foggy and soggy period as a whole.

Overnight, cold air returns with any lingering moisture turning to flurries.

Very little, if any, snow should accumulate in southern Wisconsin, beyond a dusting. It is possible to see an inch or two of snow once you’re north of the Dells.
