LAKE MILLS, Wis. — Playing the same lottery numbers for thirty years paid off for a Lake Mills man.

According to a release from the Wisconsin Lottery, Jim Yandre hit a $350,000 SuperCash prize on Jan. 29.

For the past 30 years, Yandre played his late wife’s and kids’ birthdays, the release said.

Yandre also said he kept the same pattern for checking his numbers of the years, typically checking them on Thursday mornings.

Yandre is a retired firefighter for the town of Lake Mills. His sons also serve as firefighters in Jefferson County.

Yandre said he is excited to share some of his winnings with his children, the release said.
