Arrested on suspicion of fourth-offense OWI.

VILLAGE OF ARGYLE, Wis. A Lafayette County man was arrested on suspicion of fourth-offense operating while intoxicated following a traffic stop.

A deputy on patrol pulled Scot. R. Tollakson, 47, of South Wayne, over around 12:30 a.m. Sunday for an equipment violation, according to Lafayette County Sheriff Reg Gill.

The traffic stop took place in the village of Argyle at the intersection of Broad Street and Monroe Street, Gil said.

Tollakson remains in custody at the Lafayette County Jail.

He was cited for operating while intoxicated fourth-offense and for having open intoxicants in a motor vehicle, Gil said.
