Kohout to stop playing football at UW
Migraines caused small strokes this spring
MADISON, Wis. —The Wisconsin Badgers have lost some depth on the defensive line for 2012, due to a medical condition that has affected one of their defensive tackles.
Badgers defensive tackle Jordan Kohout will not play again at UW because of migraine headaches so severe, they caused two small strokes back in the spring.
Kohout is a junior, and just 21 years old. He started seven games on the defensive line back in 2010, and was part of the defensive tackle rotation the past two years.
According to UWBadgers.com, Kohout stopped practicing during the spring after the migraines started showing up.
He will serve as a student assistant coach this season.
