Kloppenburg raises $380,000 in state Supreme Court race
Appeals Court Judge JoAnne Kloppenburg has raised almost $380,000 in the past two months in her race against Wisconsin Supreme Court Justice Rebecca Bradley for a 10-year term on the high court.
Campaign finance reports covering Feb. 2 to March 21 were due to the Government Accountability Board Monday. Kloppenburg spent about $450,000 in that period and had $197,000 on hand. She also had $157,000 in outstanding loans.
Bradley’s campaign didn’t immediately respond to a request for her filings.
Outside groups have also spent heavily in the race. The Republican Party of Wisconsin and the conservative Wisconsin Alliance for Reform have backed Bradley and the liberal Greater Wisconsin Committee has supported Kloppenburg.
