Kitten finds ‘furrever home’ with officer who rescued him from snowbank
PLATTEVILLE, Wis. — A small black kitten has found his “furrever home” with his hero.
Platteville police officer Matt Froiseth was checking out the blood moon Sunday night along Highway 151 when he heard a kitten meowing in a snowbank near the highway, according to a Facebook post by the Platteville Police Department. He dug the little kitten out of the snow, brought him back to his squad car and let him warm up and, in the meantime, he made a new friend.
After the rescue, the kitten wouldn’t leave Froiseth’s side and the officer decided he couldn’t part ways with the little guy either.
“After some serious thought, Officer Froiseth couldn’t say ‘no’ and has added to his family,” the Platteville Police Department announced on Facebook. “This little cutie has found its furrever home.”
The Facebook post has since received thousands of likes, shares and comments
