Kenseth rides Harley for charity
NASCAR driver uses a different vehicle
BRISTOL, Tenn. — Matt Kenseth didn’t drive his race car on Tuesday. Instead, he drove a motorcycle into Bristol Motor Speedway.
Kenseth rode in the Kyle Petty Victory Junction Gang Camp For Kids Charity Ride.
The NASCAR Points leader said he started riding dirt bikes when he was young, but his dad, Roy, didn’t want him to get a street bike.
“I started riding dirt bikes when I was a little kid just for fun and then my dad never wanted me to get a street bike. I bought one anyway when I was old enough so I started riding a little bit,” said Kenseth. “I bought my first Harley in ’02. I really enjoy riding. It’s really a release for me. It’s nice and quiet. I can’t answer my phone. I can’t text or check e-mail or do any of that stuff. It really gives me the time to think and kind of enjoy what’s around me.”15475930
