Kenneth A. Wisch
Kenneth A. Wisch, 82, of Fort Atkinson, passed away Friday, November 14, 2014 at Fort Memorial Hospital.
Ken was born on September 12, 1932 in Lima Center, son of Oscar F. and Dora M. (Quentmeyer) Wisch. He married Elaine Marks on June 20, 1954.
Ken worked at Stoppenbach, Patefield’s Citgo and retired as the maintenance supervisor of Redi-Serve Foods with 20 years of service.
Ken enjoyed years of family vacations traveling to northern Wisconsin to fish. He especially enjoyed playing golf with family and friends at many different golf courses. Ken was a sports enthusiast following the Wisconsin Badger football team, Milwaukee Braves and Brewers and the Green Bay Packers. He was also an avid gardener, enjoying spending hours tending to his vegetables. Ken enjoyed playing cards and going out for fish fries with many friends. Most of all Ken enjoyed spending time with his family.
Ken’s greatest love was the years he spent working with Elaine on the farm, raising animals, planting crops and tending to their apple orchard.
Ken is survived by his three sons, Michael (Kathy), Douglas (Kristina) and Robert (Diane) all of Fort Atkinson; grandchildren, Christopher (Alli) Wisch, Brandon (Jennifer Marquardt) Wisch, Jesse (Erin) Wisch and Sara Wisch; great grandchildren, Evan and Piper Wisch, Bailee and Brycen Lopez and Zane and Lilah May Wisch. He is also survived by one sister, Nathalie Buckingham of Fort Atkinson and one brother Daryl Wisch of Janesville.
He was preceded in death by his wife, his parents, two brothers and one sister.
A private funeral will be held at the Dunlap Memorial Home, burial will be in Evergreen Cemetery.
