MADISON, Wis. — The holidays are a fun time for family gatherings. However, pet owners must keep in mind not all holiday goodies are good for Fido and Fluffy. There are several common food items that can turn toxic to your pets.
According to the Pet Poison Hotline, the top 10 toxins are: chocolate, xylitol, grapes and raisins, caffeine, fatty scraps, onions/garlic/chives, macadamia nuts, unbaked yeast bread dough, alcohol and table salt.
