Katherine K. Teigen
STOUGHTON- Katherine K. Teigen, age 70, of Stoughton, passed away on Sunday, Nov. 18, 2012. She was born on July 21, 1942, in De Funiak Springs, Fla., the daughter of William and Helen Kraedemann. Katherine was united in marriage to Odean Teigen on Oct. 17, 1964, in Stoughton. She worked at Skaalen Home and later at WPS until her retirement. Katherine was a member of Covenant Lutheran Church, the American Legion Auxiliary, where she served as historian, past Worthy Matron for Order of the Eastern Star, and was a former Girl Scout leader. She was an avid Packer fan and enjoyed scrapbooking and spending time on her computer.
Katherine is survived by her husband, Odean; daughter, Sherry (Robert) Leick; two sons, Arlin and Dale; mother, Helen Kraedemann; two grandchildren, Robert (Christi) Leick II, and Karen (Rob) Drogsvold; sister, Helen (Thomas) Moore; two great-granddaughters, Casey Nelson and Amery Drogsvold; and two nieces, Whitney and Marissa Moore. She was preceded in death by her father, William; and brother, William II.
Funeral services will be held at COVENANT LUTHERAN CHURCH, 1525 N. Van Buren St., Stoughton, at 11 a.m. on Saturday, Nov. 24, 2012, with the Rev. Mark Petersen presiding. Burial will be at Riverside Cemetery, followed by a luncheon for family and friends at the Stoughton American Legion Post 59, 803 N. Page Street. Visitation will be at GUNDERSON STOUGHTON FUNERAL HOME, 1358 Hwy. 51, Stoughton, from 4 pm. until 7 p.m. on Friday, Nov. 23, 2012, with American Legion Auxiliary Pass and Review at 6:45 p.m. Memorials may be made in Katherine’s name to Covenant Lutheran Church or American Legion Auxiliary.
