Julie Ann Cass Pfeil
Julie Ann Cass Pfeil age 56, of Minneapolis and formerly of Juneau, died on Saturday, July 12, 2014 after a brief illness at Hennepin County Medical Center in Minneapolis. She was born on March 28, 1958 in Robbinsdale, MN to Charles and Elaine (Schreiber) Cass. She was a 1976 graduate of Park Center Senior High School. Jules was a very strong and determined woman. Her sons were her pride and joy. Jules enjoyed spending time with family and friends at the drag races and camping, or just cooking for them.
Survivors include her fiance, Steve Gray of Richfield MN; two sons, Joseph (Heather Peschel) Hoffer Jr and Dereck Pfeil both of Juneau; mother, Elaine Cass of Juneau; a step-daughter, Jamie Hoffer of Minnesota; one sister, Judith Lueck of Franklin; one brother, Don Cass of Juneau; a sister-in-law, Yvonne Cass of Columbus; a special granddaughter, Marissa Persinger; four nieces, Michele (Tom) Weisensel of Columbus, Jennifer (Mike) Kluetzman of Waterford, Rhonda (Kent Griswold) Cass of Minnesota, Natalie Cass of Columbus; three nephews, Curt Lueck of Minnesota, Stephen Lueck of Rio, Nickolas Cass of Columbus, along with many other extended family members and friends.
She was preceded in death by her father in 2004; two brothers, Curtis Cass in 1994 and Jon Cass in 2007; a brother-in-law, Gary Lueck in 2010.
Funeral services will be held at 12:00 P.M., with visitation beginning at 10:00 A.M. on Friday, July 18, 2014 at the COLUMBUS UNITED METHODIST CHURCH, Columbus. Sandra Schieble will officiate. Interment will be in the Fall River Cemetery, Fall River. Memorials may be directed to the family.
