Jule Marie Everhart
Jule Marie Everhart, age 87, died peacefully at her home on Thursday, Dec. 20, 2012. She was born on May 11, 1925, in Chicago, IL, the daughter of Marie B. Fucciollo) Conley and Joseph Conley. She graduated from St. Scholastica High School, Chicago, and Barat College in Lake Forest, IL. She married Charles F. Everhart on Dec. 28, 1946, at St. Margaret Mary’s, Chicago, IL. The Everhart’s opened a local auto dealership in Janesville in 1964, and became active in the community they loved. Some of Jule’s loves in life were her extended family, music and dancing, humor, and The Chicago Cubs. Her inimitable wit, energy, and a sincerely warm heart were felt by many. This diminutive woman had a huge presence and style and is severely missed!
Charles and Jule raised 6 daughters: Julie (Joe) David, Jean (Ray) O’Leary, Jaine Everhart, Joan (Bob) Sweeney, Janet (Bill) Wixom, and Joyce (Chris) Snyder. Jule adored children, and was a loving “Nana” to many outside of her immediate family; she was highly revered by her 15 grandchildren; and 13 great-grandchildren, which will carry her memory with them daily. She was preceded in death by her parents.
A Mass of Christian Burial will be celebrated at 11:00 a.m. on Thursday, Dec. 27, 2012, at ST. JOHN VIANNEY CATHOLIC CHURCH with Rev. Randy Timmerman officiating. A visitation will be held on Thursday from 9:30 to 11:00 a.m. at the church. Interment will be Oak Hill Cemetery. SCHNEIDER APFEL SCHNEIDER & SCHNEIDER FUNERAL HOME & CREMATORY is assisting the family.
