Judy Emma Hudzinski, age 64 of Lake Delton, Wisconsin died Monday, August 27, 2012 peacefully at home.

The Mass of Christian Burial will be held on Saturday, September 1, 2012 at 10:30 A.M. at St. Cecilia’s Catholic Church in Wisconsin Dells with Father Michael Richel celebrating. Burial will be at the All Saints Cemetery. Visitation will be held at the Picha Funeral Home in Lake Delton on Friday, August 31, 2012 from 4:00 to 8:00 P.M. and on Saturday at the church from 9:30 A.M. until the time of the service at 10:30 A.M.

Judy was born to the late Charles and Virginia Ramsey, March 28, 1948, in Baraboo Wisconsin. She received her high school diploma in Eagle River, Wisconsin. She married Roger Hudzinski in 1969, and they made their home in Lake Delton close to family and friends. She worked many years caring for the elderly at Continental Manor in Wisconsin Dells. Her caring nature shown though her desire and willingness to help others, her passion was helping with children. She was surrogate grandma to numerous and loved dearly to watch, tend and spoil children and then send them back home to the parents. She was so proud of her own grand babies; she loved to spend time with them, the spoiling had just begun.

Judy was a member of the Delton Sportsman Club and an avid fisherwoman, every year she and Roger headed south in pursuit of the largest largemouth bass of Lake Okeechobee. She loved to try and out fish Roger and tell the stories about the one that got away. In addition to fishing Judy loved to cook and sew, listen to music and take road trips with Roger. There isn’t a time remembered where Judy was in the kitchen or at her sewing machine when she wasn’t singing, whistling or humming one of her favorite tunes. Holidays brought great happiness to Judy, she enjoyed doing the planning, coordination and taking care of the details so the day of we could be focused on family. Judy loved to laugh; she rarely missed the opportunity to share a story that ended with a good giggle.

Judy is survived by her husband, Roger; and their two children, Charles Hudzinski of Lake Delton and Christina (Lary) Larson of McFarland Wisconsin, and her grandchildren, Luke and Emma Larson. She is further survived by her sisters, EvaJo (Adolph) Hooker of Baraboo, JoAnn (Walter) Kinzler of Baraboo, Daunnene Hooker of Rock Springs, Carol (Joseph) Birch of Baraboo, Kay (Jack) Birch of Richland Center, Pearl (Donald) Schellenberger of Baraboo, Pauline Roberts, Lucy Reichoff of Wisconsin Dells, Enain Gardner of Baraboo, Prentis (Vernon) Carter and brothers, Raleigh (Olive) Ramsey of Baraboo, Theodore (Cassandra) Ramsey of Baraboo, David (Gloria) of Baraboo, Paul Ramsey of Baraboo, Carlyle (Jodi) of Baraboo and Cyril (Joni) Ramsey of Baraboo. She was preceded in death by her parents, her sister, Johanna Fry and her brother, Herbert Ramsey.

Judy will be deeply missed by her family and all whose lives she touched. “Thank you for being our Wife and Mom, You were the Best”.
