Judith Ann (Schneider) Zingg

Judy (as a lot of her friends called her) married Edmund Zingg on June 20, 1951 in her favorite church the Swiss Reformed Church in New Glarus. They were married sixty one years and farmed for thirty three years of their life. Judy also worked at the Four Winds Manor and later worked at Culver’s in Verona, which she loved and was known as Grandma Judy, the white haired lady.
Mother loved to read, especially the obituaries and enjoyed wonderword puzzles, jigsaw puzzles, and counted cross stitch. Mother loved to feed the birds and enjoyed the company of her beloved cats. She loved listening to Swiss music and dancing the polka. Her most favorite thing to do was to just take a road trip and go out to eat.
Judy is survived by her husband Edmund; four children, Corrine Ringgenberg of Belleville, Anna (Dennis) Brady of Belleville, Russell (Teri) Zingg of Cobb, and Karen (John) Riley of Riley; Debbie Zingg; two brothers Don (Doris) Schneider of Ankeny, IA and John B. (Ann) Schneider of Orlando, FL; thirteen grandchildren and eleven great-grandchildren.
She was preceded in death by her parents; a sister Joyce (Delbert) Indergand of Monroe, daughter Shirley (George) Brown of Belleville, and son-in-law Ed (Corrine) Ringgenberg of Belleville.
Judith will be greatly missed by all whose lives she touched.
