Judith Latham

LODI – Judith A. Latham, age 79, passed away unexpectedly on Monday, September 12, 2022, at Divine Rehab and Nursing (Lodi). She was born on November 3, 1942, in Cross Plains, the daughter of Edward and Luella “Lolly” (Schwoerer) Coyle. Judy graduated from Lodi High School in 1960. On Oct. 19, 1961, she married Doyle Latham. He preceded her in death in 1993.

Judy worked as a Salesperson for Coyles Clothing of Lodi for many years and cooked and enjoyed catering. She was a member of St. Patrick’s Catholic Church in Lodi and its Women’s Alter Society, and the Lodi Women’s Auxiliary Unit 216. Judy had a variety of interests including, cooking, catering, gardening, and spending time with family and friends.

She is survived by her two daughters, Laurie (Eric) Jacobson, and Shelby (Dan) Mulcahy; two sons, Darren (Treesh) Latham, and Torrey (Lynn) Latham; ten grandchildren, Mindy (Chris) Manke, Reid (Sophie) Jacobson, Lexi (Adam Kaalberg) Jacobson, Tim (Karla) Mulcahy, Malarie (Matt) Peets, Maria (Cole) Endres, Jay (Ella) Latham, Danny Latham, Caleb (Kaylee) Latham, and Ali (Kyle) Stephens; 12 great-grandchildren; two brothers, Gordon Coyle, and Jon (Pam) Coyle; four brothers-in-law, Jim (Mary Margaret) Latham, Doug (Lynn) Latham, Wallace (Doreen) Latham, and Rodney (Jan) Latham; sister-in-law, Marlene Ziegler; other relatives and many friends

In addition to her husband, Doyle, she was preceded in death by her parents; mother-in-law, Marie Latham; special friend, Skip Buchanan; brother-in-law, Wayne Ziegler and sisters-in-law, Linda Latham and Dale Coyle.

A Mass of Christian Burial will be held at BLESSED TRINITY CATHOLIC PARISH AT ST. PATRICK CHURCH, LODI, 521 Fair St, Lodi, at 10:30 am on Friday, September 16, 2022, with the Rev. Father Joseph Baker presiding. Burial will be held in the church cemetery. Visitation will be held at GUNDERSON LODI FUNERAL AND CREMATION CARE, 157 S. Main St., Lodi, from 5 pm until 7 pm on Thursday, September 15, 2022, and also at the Church from 9:30 am until the time of the Mass on Friday.

In lieu of flowers, memorials may be made to Lodi Legion Auxiliary Unit 216 or to St. Patrick’s Catholic Church.
