Jrue Holiday voted Teammate of the Year by fellow players

MILWAUKEE, Wis. — Bucks guard Jrue Holiday was honored Tuesday for his work both on and off the court.

Holiday was awarded the 2021-22 Teammate of the Year Award, the NBA announced. The award is voted on by current players and honors selfless play and leadership. The former UCLA Bruin earned 39 first-place votes and a total of 964 points in the balloting.

This is the second time Holiday has won the award, taking it home in 2019-20 when he was with New Orleans. He is the first Buck to ever win it.

The Bucks star beat out other finalists including Chris Paul, Andre Iguodala, and DeMar DeRozan. Holiday averaged 18.3 points per game and 6.8 assists during the regular season. During the playoffs, he has averaged 18 points per game and 6.3 assists.
