John W Butch Brozek Sr

FALL RIVER—John W. “Butch” Brozek Sr., age 83, passed away peacefully on Tuesday, September 20, 2022, at The Meadows of Fall River. Butch was born on March 8, 1939, to Cleve and Esther (Conant) Brozek.

John grew up on a farm outside of Randolph. After marrying Alice Nightingale on February 27, 1960, they moved to Fall River to raise their children. While living in Fall River, John was a volunteer fireman for 25 years. John and Alice were great dancers, witnessed by many friends and family. They eventually moved to the country outside of Beaver Dam.

John enjoyed outdoor activities such as hunting and fishing. He especially enjoyed deer elk, pheasant and duck hunting. His passion in the later years was ice fishing with friends and family. John was a member of the Lost Lake management district. He also enjoyed camping and trap shooting over the years, as well as following the Brewers, Badgers and Packers.

Butch was a hard worker and a great fabricator. He had the opportunity to travel nationally and internationally while working for Hughes Company as a field service technician. He even went back to doing field service work after retiring from Seneca Foods. He had fond memories of traveling to countries like Japan, Chile and Australia. He even took a very short trip to the Dominican Republic due to a booking error that he laughed about for many years.
