Joe W. “Butch” Zeimet
Madison/Evansville-Joe W. “Butch” Zeimet, age 61, passed away on Monday, June 9, 2014, with his family at his side.
After graduating from La Follette high school in 1970, Joe joined the US Navy and served aboard the USS Kittiwake. He also loved to be outdoors, bicycling and deep-sea fishing. He was a member of bowling and pool leagues, he was a coin collector, loved the Packers and Badgers, and computer gaming. Above all he was a hardworking and helpful man, with a terrific sense of humor who will be missed by all who knew him.

He is further survived by nephew Adam Engelke and his family of Sun Prairie; the family of Gene L. Engelke Jr; brother-in-law Dan Bonner of Sun Prairie and his family, and many cousins, aunts, uncles and friends. Joe’s family wishes to extend their deepest thanks to the University of Wisconsin TLC South Unit for all the care and compassion they gave to Joe.
