Jerome L. Ganser

Jerome “Jerry” L. Ganser, age 69, passed away peacefully on Tues. Apr. 18, 2017 at Agrace Hospice in Fitchburg surrounded by his family.

He was born Aug. 11, 1947 to the late Linus J. and Dolores A. (Endres) Ganser. Jerry graduated from Sauk Prairie High School in 1965. Following high school he completed his Tool and Die Apprenticeship program graduating in 1970. Since high school Jerry spent his entire career with Flambeau Technologies in Baraboo until his retirement in 2009. He proudly raised his 2 children, Scott and Chris, they were his priority in life. Jerry married his true soulmate, Bonnie Krintz on Sept. 7, 1990. He always enjoyed watching the daily stock market and following the Badger, Packers and Brewers. As a young man he played in softball, basketball and bowling leagues. Jerry loved spending time with his family, especially his grandchildren and an annual trip to the Caribbean with his family.

He is survived by his wife Bonnie; his children, Scott Ganser, Chris Ganser, Craig Kolmorgen, Brett (Ashley) Kolmorgen, and Mindy Kolmorgen; 5 grandchildren, Tyler and Christian Ganser, Davis and Bree Kolmorgen, and Marinda Fuller; his siblings, Mary Kroda, Kathy (Martin) Ballweg, Marvin (Eileen) Ganser, Ginny (Bob) Joyes, Dolores Winden, John Ganser, Joe (Jeannie Welch) Ganser, Dan (Kris) Ganser; 4 brother in-laws, Don Leonard, Willard (Lisa) Krintz, Ken Krintz, and Neil Mack.; many nieces, nephews, other relatives and friends.

In addition to his parents, he was preceded in death by a sister, Dorothy Leonard; and in-laws, Joe Kroda, Laura Ganser, David Winden, Marvin Krintz, and Sherri Krintz-Mack.

A memorial service will be held at 11:30 am on Fri. April 21, 2017 at First United Church of Christ, Sauk City. A visitation will be held from 9:30 am until the time of service.

Jerry’s family would like to thank the Agrace Hospice Staff and Dr. James Heun.

Memorials may be given in Jerry’s name to Agrace Hospice.
