Jerome “Jerry” Hellenbrand
Jerome “Jerry” Hellenbrand, age 68, of Ashton died at his home on Sunday, July 8, 2012 following a long battle with prostate cancer. He was born on Nov. 27, 1943 to Henry and Agnes (Ripp) Hellenbrand.
Jerry married Bernadette Schmidt and she preceded him in death in 2003. He owned and operated Jerry Hellenbrand Excavating for 30 years and retired in 2000. He was an avid car collector and was a member of the Packard Club. He was a warm loving husband and father and kept everyone entertained. He enjoyed spending time with his donkey and miniature horse and loved to travel the world and had an adventurous spirit. He was a member of St. Peter’s Catholic Church in Ashton.
Survivors include his children; Dean (Kim), Shawn, Brent (Teresa), Nicole (Tony Cooke) and Beth; his grandchildren, Peyton, Connor, Ethan, Nolan, Archer and Coralie; brothers and sisters, Anthony (Joyce), Victor (Shirley), Walter (Ruth), Dorothy (Glenn) Mack, Larence (Agnes), Ester (James) Esser, JoAnn, Alvin (Elaine) and Carol (Tom) Igl and a special friend Linda Kipp. He was preceded in death by his parents; his wife Bernie; and brothers Herman, Henry, and Charles.
Funeral services will be held on Thursday, July 12, 2012 at 11:00 a.m. at St. Peter’s Catholic Church, 7121 County Trunk K, Middleton, WI. Friends may call at the church on Wed., July 11, 2012 from 4:00 to 7:00 p.m. and again on Thurs. from 10:00 a.m. until the time of services. Burial will take place in the church cemetery. The family would like to thank the staff at Agrace Hospice and Inessa Maryline for the care provided to their Dad.
