Jefferson man arrested for 6th OWI
MADISON, Wis. — A Jefferson man was sent to the hospital and arrested on suspicion of a sixth offense of operating while under the influence on Interstate 39/90 near the Beltline Tuesday.
The Wisconsin State Patrol received a report of a possible overdose on I-39/90 near the Beltline interchange at 5:52 p.m. Tuesday.
A trooper found the driver of a vehicle, identified as 53-year-old Claude Gorn, unconscious and without a pulse. The trooper gave Gorn a dose of naloxone and started CPR, reviving him.
Gorn was taken to the hospital and arrested on suspicion of a sixth-offense OWI. Online jail records do not have him listed as a current inmate.
