MADISON- Jean Elliott, age 82, passed away on Saturday, August 25, 2012, at Agrace HospiceCare, Inc. She was born on November 20, 1929, the daughter of Joseph and Mary Mallon, near Beaver Dam, where she was raised. Jean married the love of her life, Ward Elliott, on August 16, 1952. Jean had many jobs, but her favorites were working as a crossing guard at the intersection of Raymond Road and Gilbert Road, and as the head cashier at Copps on Whitney Way. After she retired, her love for children lead her to raising children in her home. She was an accomplished bowler, loved golfing, playing cards and gambling, crocheting, doing puzzles, and cheering for the Packers and Badgers. Most of all, she loved spoiling the light of her life, her grandson, Austin.
She is survived by her son, Brad (Jacki); daughter-in-law, Jenny; grandson, Austin; a brother, Bill Mallon; and numerous nieces and nephews. She was preceded in death by her husband, Ward; son, Mark; nine siblings; and her niece and best friend, Carolyn Tomhure.
