Jazz club Cafe Coda opens downtown
MADISON, Wis. — Madison’s downtown is home to a brand new jazz club.
Cafe Coda opened its doors Saturday and held two shows featuring internationally-acclaimed performances.
Owners said they saw a demand for more jazz music in Madison and were happy to fill it.
“After living here for 24 years, I have missed a place where music was appreciated as an art form instead of simply entertainment,” co-owner Hanah Jon Taylor said.
Taylor said the club, located at 113 West Dayton St., hopes to host live music five or six times per week.
