Janet Pulvermacher

Janet Pulvermacher, 81, of Muscoda died Saturday, December 15, 2012 at the Golden Living Center. She was born November 28, 1931 the daughter of Louis H and Catherine (Schwartz) Heller in Menominee. Janet graduated in 1949 from Menominee High School and attended UW Platteville. She later returned to school for three years at UW Richland to learn more about Paintings. Janet worked as a Certified Nursing Aid for Homeward Bound for several years. On May 26, 1984 Janet married Clarence Pulvermacher in Muscoda. Janet was a member of the Muscoda Legion Post 85 Auxiliary, St. John’s Alter Society since 1955 and served as a Girl Scout Leader for 16 years. Janet loved to paint.

Janet is survived by her husband, Clarence, five children, Ned (Katt) Anderson of Virginia, Suzy (Tim) Cocciolone of North Carolina, Larry (Vickie) Anderson of Muscoda, Maria (Joe) Obeneder of Beloit, Nicole Butch of Virginia, stepchildren, Daniel (Doris) Pulvermacher of Benton, Daryl Pulvermacher of Muscoda, David Pulvermacher of Monroe, Laurie Pulvermacher of Monroe, Lynn Brown Pulvermacher of Westby, Lisa Block Pulvermacher of Monroe, brother, Jim (Ethel) Heller of Arizona, brother-in-law, Corneal (Vera) Pulvermacher of Reedsburg, 23 grandchildren, many nieces, nephews, other relatives, and friends. Janet was preceded in death by her parents, stepson Kevin Pulvermacher, and brother Robert Heller.

Memorial services will be held on Saturday, December 22, 2012 at St. John the Baptist Catholic Church in Muscoda at 11:00 AM. Burial will follow in the St. John the Baptist Catholic Cemetery. Friends may call at the Godager Pratt Funeral Home on Saturday, December 22, 2012 from 9:00 AM until the departure to the church at 10:30 AM. An American Legion Auxiliary Service will be held at 10:30 AM at the funeral home. The Godager Pratt Funeral Home of Muscoda is assisting the family with their arrangements.
