JANESVILLE: Three people in custody, one missing after car theft

JANESVILLE, Wis. — Three people are in custody and one is on the run after stealing a vehicle from Whitewater.

According to Janesville Patrol Officers, the individuals were seen with the stolen car at the gas pumps at 108 Center Ave.

When police made contact with them, the driver of the car and three passengers fled on foot. Police were able to locate the driver, 18-year-old Trevion Church, and two passengers, 18-year-old Thomdrecus Ross and one who has not been named due to his age. Police are still trying to locate the fourth passenger.

Church was taken into custody after a short pursuit on foot, Ross went inside the gas station and was taken into custody. The 17-year-old male was found on a bike trail, where he was then taken into custody.

All three people were held at the Rock County Jail. The investigation is ongoing to find the fourth person.
