Janesville police try to identify hit-and-run suspect
Man struck by vehicle on city's west side Sunday
JANESVILLE, Wis. — Janesville police are trying to look for the person who hit a man with his truck while he was trying to cross the street on the city’s west side early Sunday morning.
The incident happened on the corner of Laurel Avenue and North Pearl Street just after midnight early Sunday morning.
According to police, a man was crossing North Pearl Street when he was hit. The victim described the vehicle as a small black truck that didn’t have a topper on it. According to the victim, the truck didn’t stop and continued north of Pearl after it hit him.
Police said the man came to Mercy Hospital and reported being hit by a car Sunday morning. He was treated and released with minor injuries.
