Police on scene for two hours, find nothing suspicious
JANESVILLE, Wis. — Store managers at Janesville’s Walmart gave the “all clear” after a bomb threat Friday morning.
Janesville police were called to the Walmart around 10:30 a.m. to help evacuate the facility and control traffic in the parking lot.
Police said the store staff called and reported the bomb threat. But, after staff searched the store, they found nothing suspicious, according to a Janesville police sergeant.
Police were at the scene for about two hours. The Walmart reopened shortly after noon.
