No one was injured, but a mobile home off Beloit Avenue sustained $6,400 damage in a fire early Tuesday, authorities said.

The Janesville Fire Department said units responded to 1548 Swallow Lane for a report of a fire at about 4:20 a.m.

Crews said heavy smoke and flames were visible from the mobile home owned by Whitney Stricklen — who was also the sole occupant — when they arrived.

According to the report, Stricklen was out of the home by the time fire units arrived.

Crews were at the scene for approximately two hours and no one was injured, the Janesville Fire Department said.

Authorities said the estimated dollar loss to the home was $4,400 and to its contents was $2,000.

The Janesville fire and police departments are still investigating the incident.
