James ‘Jim’ A. Dosch
James ‘Jim’ A. Dosch, 68, passed away May 19, 2014. He was born February 3, 1946 in Richland Center, the son of Marvin and Barbara (Bailey) Dosch. James grew up in the Richland Center area and graduated from Richland Center High School in 1963. After school he worked various jobs until he found the work he was to do for 31 years before retiring. He worked in the electric whole sale field for 31 years, 23 years with D.S Electric in LaCrosse, WI, 2 years in Madison with Crescent Electric, and 6 years with J.H Larson in Eau Claire, WI. Jim enjoyed fishing, hunting, and playing cards with friends and family. He loved nothing more than to spend time with friends and family and entertaining everyone with his sense of humor.
James is survived by his wife of 46 years: Karen (Kepler) Dosch; two children: Christopher Dosch (Heather Montano) of Chetek, Suzanne Clements of Viroqua; three grandchildren: Nicole Harms of Muscoda, Mikaylyn Clements of Viroqua, Emmett Clements of Viroqua; one brother: Dick (Connie) Dosch of Richland Center; Many sisters and brother-in-laws, cousins, nieces, nephews, and friends.
Jim is preceded in death by his parents, father- in-law James Kepler, sister Linda Ekleberry, brother-in-law Francis Ekleberry.
Memorial services will be Friday, May 23, 2014 at 11:00 AM at the Pratt Memorial Chapel with Pastor Craig Peach officiating. Friends may call at the Pratt Memorial Chapel on Thursday, May 22, 2014 from 4:00 PM until 8:00 PM and again on Friday, May 23, 2014 from 10:00 AM until the time of the service at 11:00 AM.
