James Francis Blanch
Rio/Monona – James Francis Blanch, age 37, died on Sunday, September 8, 2013.
He was born in Madison on October 30, 1975. He graduated from Monona Grove High School in 1994. He married Bobbie (Bohling) Blanch on May 31, 2013. James worked in the carpentry trade for several years and in his spare time enjoyed umpiring softball and baseball. He loved anything and everything outdoors, especially hunting with his son, Gavyyn and best friend, Mike Hall.
James is survived by: his loving wife, Bobbie Blanch; his beloved children, Gavynn Blanch and Preston Blanch; his parents, Allen Blanch and Jeanne (Robert E.) Kruger; his siblings, Jenifer Meinholz, Mashele (DJ) Huschka, and Kristine (Chris) Rains; his grandmother, Ruth Blanch; and many aunts, uncles, cousins, neices, nephews, and friends. He was proceeded in death by his grandparents, Raymond Blanch and Alexander and Shirley Smith; uncle, Roger Blanch; brother, Alan Blanch; and his son’s mother, Jacqueline Sanders.
James will be remembered for his big heart, tall tales, and charm.
A Celebration of Life gathering will take place on Saturday, September 14, 2013 at his home in Rio, WI from 1:00 p.m. to 7:00 p.m.
