James A. “Jim” Pauley
MONONA- James “Jim” A. Pauley, age 60, of Monona, died peacefully Monday Sept. 3, 2012 at UW Hospital. He was born May 23, 1952, in Madison, to Lorence (Wayne) and Arlene Pauley. Jim was the oldest of three. He has a younger brother, Tim and sister, Kim Askey. Jim enjoyed horses, hunting, fishing, friends, and riding with his bike club. Jim also enjoyed story telling of the good old days. Jim attended Madison College and worked for Uniroyal in Stoughton.
Jim is survived by his daughters, Amanda A. Dotson of Poynette, and Nicole M. Chicker (Michael) of Stoughton; grandchildren, Shyanna, Rebecca, Hayden, Ben, Sam, Alecia, Hallie and Max; his mother, Arlene Pauley of Monona; brother, Timothy Pauley (Liza) of Monona; sister, Kimberly Askey (Scott) of Minn.; nephew, Joshua W. Pauley (Stacy) of McFarland; as well as many aunts, uncles and cousins. Jim was preceded in death by his father, Lorence (Wayne) Pauley; as well as aunts, uncles, and grandparents.
A celebration of Jim’s life will be held at 5:30 p.m. on Saturday, Sept. 8, 2012, at THE EAGLE’S CLUB, 2109 Bartillion Drive, Madison. In lieu of flowers, memorials may be made to the family.
