Jacquelyn J. “Jackie” Bunnell
MADISON-Jacquelyn “Jackie” J. Bunnell, age 66, of Madison, passed away peacefully on Friday, Nov. 30, 2012, after a long courageous battle with cancer at Agrace HospiceCare in Fitchburg. She was born on Feb. 3, 1946, in Madison, the daughter of Herbert and Vivian (Karow) Klahn. She was united in marriage to Ron Bunnell on Feb. 5, 1965, in Madison. He preceded her in death in 1991. Jackie graduated from Monona Grove High School in 1964. She worked as an administrative assistant for the Department of Corrections for 36 years. Jackie enjoyed her horses, reading, and playing golf. Most of all, she loved spending time with her children and grandchildren. She was a loving mother and friend.
Jackie is survived by her children, Rick (Tina) Bunnell and Brian Bunnell; grandchildren, Jordayn and Cade; special friend, Marlin Wild; brother, Ken (Debbie) Klahn and Phillip Klahn; and sister, Jill (Terry) Janke. She was preceded in death by her father, Herbert; mother, Vivian; husband, Ron; son, Ronnie; brother, Randy; and sister, Jonie.
Funeral services will be held at GUNDERSON EAST FUNERAL HOME, 5203 Monona Drive, Madison, at Noon on Tuesday, Dec. 4, 2012, with Agrace HopsiceCare Chaplain Timothy Jones presiding. Burial will be at Highland Memory Gardens. Visitation will be held at the funeral home from 10 a.m. until the time of service on Tuesday.
