Investigation underway after a man’s body is found in an Onalaska storage unit
ONALASKA, Wis. — Police are investigating a suspicious death at a storage unit in La Crosse County.
At about 3:32 p.m. Thursday afternoon, Onalaska police and fire departments were called to Edwards Mini Storage on County Road PH.
Onalaska police Chief Charles Ashbeck said an employee called to report the discovery.
Officials said the body of a 60-year-old man was found inside the unit. Police didn’t identify the man.
Because of where the body was found, the Onalaska Police Department will investigate the death as suspicious. But Ashbeck said no foul play is suspected as of Thursday.
Anyone with information related to the case is asked to call Investigator Pete Jakowski at 608-392-0285.
