JANESVILLE— Inta “Int” Silis Dorn, age 64, of Beloit, died on Monday, Sept. 16, 2013, at home.
She was born in Esslingen am Neckar, Germany on April 30, 1949, the daughter of Voldemars and Austra (Upenieks) Silis. She has been a permanent resident of the US since 1951 and a resident of Janesville since 1953. Inta had been married to Eugene T. Schultz and later to Gerald L. Dorn and are still best friends. She loved stuffed animals, coloring, crocheting, jewelry, and bargain shopping.
Inta is survived by her daughter, Angie that she gave up for adoption; brother, Andy (Wanda) Silis of Clinton; sister, Inara Sweeden of Porterville, CA; aunt, Lily Balodis of Vineland, NJ; nieces, nephews, cousins and friends including all of those at CSP, and the Rick and Kathy Nagel family with whom she lived the past 9 years. She was preceded in death by her parents.
A Funeral Service will be held at 11:00 a.m. on Friday, Sept. 20, 2013, at SCHNEIDER APFEL SCHNEIDER & SCHNEIDER FUNERAL HOME & CREMATORY with Rev. Kelvin Swanson officiating. Interment will be in Oak Hill Cemetery. A visitation will be held on Friday from 10:00 to 11:00 a.m. at SCHNEIDER APFEL SCHNEIDER & SCHNEIDER FUNERAL HOME.
