In the 608: SSM Health hosting food drive benefitting ECHO of Janesville

JANESVILLE, Wis. – SSM Health’s Janesville campus is hosting a unique food drive benefitting ECHO (Everyone Cooperating to Help Others).

ECHO of Janesville recently reported a three-fold increase in the number of community members they are helping to find shelter, compared to last year.

SSM Health is encouraging community members to drop off single-serving sizes of fruits and vegetables, as these shelf-stable items do not require additional utensils to open or heat and are one of ECHO’s most needed items.

The food drive lasts through Friday, April 22.
