MADISON, Wis. — Serving as the meeting place of the global dairy industry, World Dairy Expo brings together the latest in dairy innovation and the best cattle in North America.
With thousands of folks visiting Madison, there are many ways to support local.
The Grilled Cheese at World Dairy Expo is a student run food stand that makes the iconic grilled cheese sandwich and chocolate shakes. The stand makes thousands of grilled cheese sandwiches during the week. Money raised goes to educational trips and activities for college students. The World Dairy Expo is open from 9 a.m. to 5 p.m. Sept. 28-Oct. 2 at the Alliant Energy Center. For those over the age of 12, it is $12 for daily admission or $35 for a season pass to join all week. Parking is included with that admission. Click here to learn more.
