In the 608: Get ready for Badger football with ‘100 Days To Kickoff Scavenger Hunt’

MADISON, Wis. — The calendar may still say Spring but it’s never too early to look forward to Fall and the return of fans to Camp Randall Stadium. In fact, Thursday, May 26 marks 100 days until the Badgers open the 2022 season at home against Illinois State on Sept. 3.

In celebration of that milestone date, the Badgers are hosting a statewide “Wisconsin Football 100 Days to Kickoff Scavenger Hunt.” Partnering with city parks departments, UW staff will place 100 mini Badger football helmets each in four locations across the state: Appleton, Eau Claire, Madison and Racine/Kenosha.

Each helmet will have a prize associated with it, including tickets to a UW home game, Coach Chryst autographed footballs, Badger gear and gift cards from Bucky’s Locker Room, EatStreet, Toppers Pizza and Culver’s. Three grand prize winners will receive $100 Pick ’N Save gift cards and two tickets to the home game of their choice.

The individual parks in each city that will be part of the scavenger hunt will be announced at 6 a.m. on Thursday. Each mini helmet will have an attached code for fans to scan to redeem their prize. There will be a limit of one prize per fan.

For those fans unable to participate in the “Wisconsin Football 100 Days to Kickoff Scavenger Hunt” in person, the Badgers also will be giving away prizes worldwide via Twitter (@UWBadgers), Instagram (@UWBadgers) and Facebook (Wisconsin Badgers) on May 26. Prizes include Badger gear, gift cards and more.

In addition to the scavenger hunt, UW is celebrating 100 Days to Kickoff by opening up season ticket sales for the 2022 season. Everyone knows that Saturdays at Camp Randall are special and there are only seven of them each fall. This is the chance to be a part of all seven, complete with every Jump Around, each “First and 10, Wisconsin!” and every Fifth Quarter.

Fans can be a part of the fun in America’s Best College Town by visiting UWBadgers.com. Sales begin at 9 a.m. on May 26. New season tickets holders will have first choice to the best remaining seats in Camp Randall and have exclusive access to home and away single-game tickets, prior to the general public. At a savings of as much as $132 over single-game prices, season tickets are the best value for the true Badger football fan.

The CR Future project, a comprehensive renovation of the seating area in the south end zone of Camp Randall Stadium, offers Badger fans a new premium viewing experience for Wisconsin football games beginning this fall.

Limited opportunities remain to be a part of the project in time for the Sept. 3 season opener. Club seats, Fifth Quarter Patio seats and Touchdown Club memberships are all on sale now.

The renovation will transform the gameday experience with access to indoor and outdoor hospitality clubs, climate-controlled amenities, expanded premium food and beverage offerings (including alcoholic beverages), dedicated restrooms and best-in-class service and operations.
