Empowering our team members
The two cornerstones of IA Management’s business philosophy are trust and transparency, says Rachel Govin, chief operating officer and corporate counsel. And while that’s certainly important to the Dane County property management company’s client base, it also applies to its 20 local (and 32 total) employees.
“Everyone is empowered to make decisions and trusted to do their job,” stresses Govin. “That probably tops the list of reasons why our team members enjoy working here. They feel like valued members of the team.”
Benefits including flexible hours, an on-site fitness center and free virtual medical and mental health appointments are also draws. But the most popular is probably the company’s benefits credit. “We offer health insurance, but recognizing that some people already have it, we provide those team members with the same value through a cash increase to their paycheck,” says Govin. “We’re always looking for ways to put employees first — and that’s huge for recruiting!”
