‘Jurassic World: Dominion,’ ‘Ms. Marvel’ and an Adam Sandler Netflix movie lead the Streamed & Screened podcast discussion
Another summer weekend means another summer blockbuster.
This time around it’s “Jurassic World: Dominion,” which co-host Bruce Miller is particularly excited about.
Then we catch up on a couple of movies that came out last weekend before covering some of the good stuff hitting streaming services including the latest Marvel offering on Disney+, “Ms. Marvel,” a new Adam Sandler basketball drama, “Hustle,” on Netflix, and (deep breath) “Irma Vep,” a mini-series that re-makes a movie from 25 tears ago which itself was about a film crew remaking a movie from 1915 which, despite its convoluted provenance, is really good!
Streamed & Screened is a podcast about movies and TV hosted by Miller, an entertainment reporter for multiple decades who is now the editor of the Sioux City Journal, Jared McNett, a reporter for the Sioux City Journal, and Chris Lay, the podcast operations manager for Lee Enterprises.
