Hy-Vee reinstates reserved shopping hour for high risk customers
WEST DES MOINES, Iowa — Starting Monday, Hy-Vee is reinstating a reserved shopping hour for high risk customers in response to the recent increase in COVID-19 cases.
According to a release, the hour will be at all Hy-Vee locations from 7 a.m. to 8 a.m., Monday through Friday. Customers able to shop in this period are those older than 60 years old, expectant mothers and anyone with an underlying health condition.
As cases rise, the release said Hy-Vee thought it was necessary to reintroduce the special hour.
All other customers are asked to shop before or after the 7 a.m. to 8 p.m. hour, Monday through Friday.
