Huskers knock off Badgers, 63-59

James Palmer, Jr. scored 18 points to lead Nebraska to a 63-59 win over Wisconsin in a Big Ten men’s basketball game in Lincoln Tuesday night.

Ethan Happ had 19 points and 11 rebounds for the Badgers (9-9 overall, 2-3 Big Ten) while Brad Davison added 15 points and Brevin Pritzl scored 10.

The Cornhuskers (12-6, 3-2) led 26-22 at halftime.

The Badgers’ Greg Gard picked up a technical foul in the second half- the first techincal foul he’s received in 78 games as Wisconsin’s head coach.

Wisconsin’s next game is January 16th when the Badgers travel to Purdue.
