Badly burned car found in field in Medina
MEDINA, Wis. — Officials are investigating a death in Medina after a body was discovered in a burned car Monday night.
The Dane County Sheriff’s Office said a badly burned Chevrolet Cruze was found in a field off Canal Street in the town of Medina at about 8 p.m.
Human remains belonging to one person were found inside the vehicle, the sheriff’s office said.
Crash reconstructionists and detectives from the Dane County Sheriff’s Office were still processing the scene Tuesday afternoon, the sheriff’s office said.
