How to watch Dane County’s Presidential Election recount live

Dane County Election Recount

MADISON, Wis. — Dane County’s Board of Canvassers is beginning the process of a recount for the 2020 Presidential election.

Officials will start by testing the equipment they’ll be using for the recount on Friday morning. The actual recounting of votes is expected to start on Saturday. Dane County will have a deadline of December 1st to finish the recount, although election officials expect to be done much sooner than that — perhaps as early as before Thanksgiving.

To provide transparency into the process, the entire recount is being streamed live. According to the Board of Canvassers’ meeting agenda, the recount is scheduled to be held from 8 a.m. to 8:30 p.m. every day until November 30th, excluding Thanksgiving.
