Herb, Walzer lead WIAA state boys golf

Middleton’s Emmet Herb shot four-under par 68 for the lowest score of the day at the WIAA State Boys Golf tournament at University Ridge Monday.

Herb was six-under after an eagle on the 16th hole and took a five-shot lead in the individual race in Division One.

Lodi’s Logan Walzer is tied for first individually in Division Two.

Walzer and Sheboygan Falls’ Matt Bachmann both shot even par to tie for first place. McFarland’s Matthew Davidson shot 75 and is in fourth place individually.
