Help us Fill the Boat with school supplies for the Boys and Girls Clubs of Dane County
MADISON, Wis. — News 3 Now’s partnership with the Boys and Girls Clubs of Dane County to help make sure local kids have what they need to start the school year with everything they need continues today with a Fill the Boat supply drive at Wingra Boats.
News 3 Now This Morning’s Leah Linscheid will be on a kayak on Lake Wingra Friday morning collecting backpacks and school supplies, and officials from the Boys and Girls Clubs of Dane County will also be on hand to collect school supply donations all day at Wingra Boats.
The drive continues with music by the water at Wingra Boats from 6 p.m. to 9 p.m.
We’ve already seen multiple donations from local businesses and community members early Friday morning.

If you can’t make it out to Lake Wingra on Friday, you can still help donate to the drive in multiple other ways. There are dozens of locations across Dane County accepting donations for the drive, and you can also donate without leaving home by using the Boys and Girls Club’s Amazon wishlist — items ordered there will be delivered directly to the Boys and Girls Clubs of Dane County’s headquarters.
