Helicopter stringing power lines in Janesville may cause short traffic delays
JANESVILLE, Wis. — A utility project by air may cause some traffic delays in Janesville Thursday, officials said.
The American Transmission Co. is stringing the electric lines along Interstate 39-90 as part of a project to relocate large electric poles with the interstate expansion.
The helicopter was spotted out around 11 a.m.
City officials said drivers may experience short delays during the stringing.
