Harvey Raymond Schade
JANESVILLE—- Harvey R. Schade, age 84, of Janesville, died Tuesday, Sept. 25, 2012, at his home with his family at his side. He was born in Portland, WI on June 24, 1928, the son of Harvey Alfred and Rose (Smith) Schade. He married Barbara Jean Platt in Beloit on March 11, 1956. Harvey owned Como Filtration Systems, and was a member of Creston Park Congregation Jehovah’s Witness. He was a very active witness, serving as an overseer and minister.
He is survived by his wife, Barbara Jean Schade; 2 children, Lynne (Tim) Cerny of Janesville and Doug (Tonya Renee) Schade of Janesville; 3 grandchildren: Eric (fiancé Tu Dang) Ritter of Janesville, Cory Ritter of Duluth, MN and Jenna Cerny of Portland, OR; and 4 siblings: Maynard (Florence) Schade of New Richmond, Richard (Donna) Schade of Madison, Ronald (Sharon) Schade of Madison and LaVonne (Phillip) Samuelson of Donna, TX. He was preceded in death by his parents; and 2 brothers, Bernard and Robert Schade.
A Memorial Service will be held at 6:00 p.m. on Tuesday, Oct. 2, 2012, at SCHNEIDER APFEL SCHNEIDER & SCHNEIDER FUNERAL HOME & CREMATORY with Jonathan Golz officiating. A visitation will be held on Tuesday from 4:00 to 6:00 p.m. at SCHNEIDER APFEL SCHNEIDER & SCHNEIDER FUNERAL HOME. Lasting memorials may be made to the World Wide Work of Jehovah’s Witness.
Harvey was a generous man who impacted so many lives in a positive way and helped so many people without thinking twice.
