Harry James Marion
Harry J. Marion, Jr., age 68 of Wisconsin Dells, Wisconsin (formerly) passed away peacefully on Friday, October 12, 2012 at his home.
A Celebration of Life Gathering will be held on Saturday, October 20, 2012 at 11:00 A.M. at The Sand Bar in Wisconsin Dells. Harry was born September 8, 1944 in Canton, Ohio the son of Harry and Mary (Miliny) Marion, Sr. He served in the US Army from 1965-1971. He married Darlene Harlan on October 3, 1969 in Louisville, Ohio. He had many acquaintances from the all the years he worked at Steffe’s True Value. He loved playing softball, bowling, gardening and walking. He was a little league baseball coach for 13 years in Ohio. Harry was a loving caring man. His family, especially his grandchildren, meant the world to him.
Harry is survived by his wife, Darlene; mother, Mary Fulmer of Louisville, OH; sons, Matthew Marion and Jeffrey Marion both of Wisconsin Dells; daughters, Holly (Ben) Harrison of Baraboo, WI, Dawn Scarf of Wisconsin Dells and Jennifer (Rich) Rasmussen of Lake Delton, WI; brothers, Tony (Sue) Marion of Massillon, OH, Norm (Pat) Fulmer of Waco, TX, John Fulmer and Jim Fulmer both of Louisville, OH; sisters, Mary Ann Davis of East Liverpool, OH, Kathy (Al) Pileggi of Arizona, June (Richard) Grosenbaugh of Louisville, OH and Jean Ehrlinspiel of Canton, OH; grandchildren, Tiffany, Christopher, Nathan Shuman, Heavan (John Staples) Scarf, Matthew Knickerbocker, Tyler Marion, Jason (Brooke), James and Michael. He was preceded in death by his father; step-father, Kenneth Fulmer and sister, Melaine Fulmer.
