Guy M. Solberg
Brooklyn, WI – Guy M. Solberg, age 61, of rural Brooklyn passed away unexpectedly on Sunday, May 25, 2014.
He was born on May 15, 1953 at Mt. Horeb, WI to his parents Leif and Mary Jane (Hoff) Solberg. Guy graduated from Madison West High School in 1971. He was a wonderful husband and awesome father who enjoyed spending time with his family and was very involved with his daughter’s activities. He owned and operated Solberg Refrigerated Freight and crop farmed. Guy was a hard worker and had great ability to fix and repair machinery.
Guy is survived by his wife Sheree (Legler) Solberg, daughter Emilee, brothers Eric (Kim) Solberg and Kirk (Katherine) Solberg, an aunt Else Solberg, father-in-law and mother-in-law William and Rose Legler, sisters-in-law Dawn Bryant and Rebecca Legler, brothers-in-law Arthur (Jody) Legler and Roy Legler, cousins Shanna (Greg) Leonard, Joe (Karen) Hoff, and Dan Hoff, nieces and nephews Sterling and Signa Solberg, Jessica and Morgan Johnson, Angela (Brentt) Zweifel, Craig Bryant, Ashley, Alishia, and Nichole Legler, grand-niece Hailey, and grand-nephews Flynn and William. He was preceded in death by his parents.
Funeral services will be held at 11:00 a.m. on Friday, May 30, 2014 at the First United Church of Christ, 130 E. Church St., Belleville, WI with the Rev. Heide Walker Hackman officiating.
Relatives and friends may call from 5:00 p.m. to 8:00 p.m. on Thursday, May 29, 2014 at the Becker-Beal Funeral Home, 109 Greenway Cross, Belleville, WI.
